Inspire
At times, inspiration comes from big things, small things, the unusual, the mundane, the extraordinary, or the ordinary. Sometimes you seek it, and at times it seeks you. Either way, when it hits you know it!

Food: Dietlind Wolf
Believe me when I say, I really try not to post everything of Dietlind Wolf's work that I see on here. Her work never ceases to inspire and amaze me. The woman is a genius! We have to make a deal though, no blaming me if after seeing all these delicious photos, you find yourself looking for some treats to satisfy this food craving out of nowhere. :-)
Even that white paper with the grid pattern looks amazing. Like how does she do that?!
I love this violet series, it feels so old worl,d and romantic. I'm always amazed by her story telling abilities. Each series has a distinct story, and emotion conveyed yet her style is very apparent in each.

Photography - Katya de Grunwald
Are you up for a bit of a trip? Lets take one shall we. Looking at these photos of Katya de Grunwald I am transported to a dreamy beautiful place. There is a lightness to these photos, like a floating feather.
It's a very emotive response they illicit that is hard for me to put into words. As a visual and emotional person, I love it when art of any kind gives me an emotional response.
Katya de Grunwald's work has been featured in top publications such as; Elle Decoration, Red, Martha Stewart Living, House and Garden. I have to admit that I recently found out about her work, but I'm so glad I did.

Photography: Birgitta Wolfgang Drejer
I can feel the end of summer lurking in the corner, and I have to say its bitter sweet. I can tell that summer is coming to an end not only because the days are getting shorter, and the sighting of the random browning of leaves. But I also find my nesting instincts kicking in, I am already thinking about bringing in cozy knitted blankets, and cuddling up with a nice cup of tea after a soul comforting dinner. For me, as a true cancer sign for who everything revolves around the home. I love welcoming fall as much as I hate saying goodbye to summer.
I know summer is still here and I intend to fully enjoy the last days of it, however these beautiful moody photos by Birgitta Wolfgang Drejer invoke the cozy autumn night for me. There is a rawness to her photos that I am absolutely drawn to.
How are you spending the last days of your summer?

Organic Styling - Elle Decor SA
I've gone back to look at these beautiful, organic styling on Elle Decoration SA for a few times now. I figured there must be something special about them that keep me coming. They evoke that rustic, simple vibe of the beach, a lifestyle I am really craving right now.
What do you think? Have a great week!

Julia Hoersch Photography
There are endless talented creatives out there to inspire on a daily basis. I do love it when I come across someone's work that totally stops me in my tracks, and make me want to be better at what I do. Julia Hoersch's photography did that to me the other day.
I was immediately drawn to her work, and couldn't stop scrolling through her web site. Her photography is quite fresh, and beautiful. I know that it's a team effort, and she is working with some amazing stylists, but she has to have a special eye to bring their styling to life as she does.
I really love food photography and her's is capitvating. I don't know about you but I am all of a sudden jonsing for a cupcake or something sweet. :-)
What do you guys think? Gorgeous, no?

Inspiring Photography
Perhaps in another life I would either be a photographer or musician. There is something about the two art forms that truly connects to their audience at a very deep level. I can't help but imagine what a high it must be for the artist, especially musicians since it's instantaneous. For some reason great photos and music have a wonderful way of touching me at a very soulful level.
I came across these shots, and I found them breathtaking. You can feel the energy of the leaping kids and their excitement is certainly contagious. I could not help smiling looking at these.

Alicia Bock
To say that I am a dreamer is an understatement. I am constantly daydreaming about something, whether it's about travel, design, cloths, shoes, it's always something. I also like things that have a dream or fantasy feel to them, and at the same time retain a realness too. This is how I see Alicia Bock's amazing photography. I love how her images make me imagine different scenarios - they are quite beautiful too. :)
These carousel pictures are so transporting, can't help but go to a very happy place.
Alicia Bock is a self taught photographer, a mother of two, and a very talented lady. She is influenced by her years growing up in Michigan and Florida, surrounded by color and water. You can comepletely see that, right?

You can learn more about this talented lady and her services on her web site. These prints and much more are all available in her Etsy shop for sale. Lucky for us huh?
